A while ago, I  bought a Brother DCP750CW and installed it successfully on my computer, unfortunately, my hard drive crashed … and I had to reinstall my system… Nevermind, this time, I’ll take this chance to write a little tutorial !

Installing Debian in China

It’s about a week now I am trying to install a debian netinstall from China … while I thought this would be easy, it actually was slooowww … deadly sloowww …
Couldn’t find a Chinese debian repository, only found this one :
deb http://ftp.hk.debian.org etch main contrib non-free
And man, that’s deadly slow from Shanghai, 10 on peak, [...]
